Epi & Emae Christmas Outreach, 2004
17 young energetic young boys and girls got on board MV Sarafenua for Epi on the 19th of December 2004. So on fire were these boys and girls that nothing at all was going to stop delay nor stop this very important mission. If the salvation of just one soul enough to make heaven celebrate, their heart was set on just that - to make heaven celebrate. Even a very strong letter from one of the mother churches could not stop them - they've made up their mind to obey God and not succumb to the intimidating tactics of the devil.
These were later joined by seven more the following weekend. The whole team spend one week up to and through Christmas on the island, going from village to village sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through dramas and skits and powerful testimonies. Testimonies from the youth themselves revealed that not only were the people in Epi were being changed, but they themselves were being touched and changed in ways never dreamed of before.
The team then left Epi on the 29th of December on board vessel El Ketty, for Emae. They were based on Makatea village, and went from village to village sharing the message of the Lord Jesus, and encouraging especially young people to find their purpose in life and begin to walk into it. Again, testimonies from individuals reveal the impact of this small effort.
Below are selected shots of this mission to Epi and Emae.
