Youth
and Young Executives Sunday, July
2007
For the Children's' day in July
2007, the Youth and the Young Executives (YE) were given Sunday
the 28th to lead the church service.
It was obvious that Sunday that a
lot of work and preparation had gone into this Children's
Sunday. The Youth presented some lovely, message-filled,
dances. The YE did a wonderful drama presentation of Community.
The young peoples messages were
filled with the message of the Reformation: community,
connectedness, and cooperate journey. Click

Easter
Sunday, April 2007
The
Easter Sunday of April 2007 saw the youth performing dances,
drama and skits that portray the Easter message. This was done
as part of the Easter Sunday church service at Upper Room
Ministy.
The young people showed a lot of creative works in terms of the
sound-tracks to the skits they themselves had put together, and
the costumes the girls had made for the dances.
The main drama for the evening
was the story of the creation, the fall of Adam, and the
restoration of man at Jesus' death and resurrection. Click

Safe
Hill Outreach, 2003
The
second major outreach carried out by the youth of the Upper Room
Ministry.
The theme for this outreach was,
"Love that seeks after you", taken from Romans 5:8, "But
God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us." [KJV] The youth formed three
teams, and armed with a simple drama based on the theme, went
their separate ways. One team took the main road towards Port
Vila, a second group took the main road towards Lelepa, and a
third went inland.
There were resistances in some
settlements, as expected, but this did not dampen the zeal in
these young people. Click

Emae
Easter Outreach, 2000
This
is the first mission ever done by the youth of Upper Room Ministry since the
birth of the ministry in July of 1999.
Chartering two planes, 30-plus youth and the
ministry band went to Emae island for the Easter weekend. Much preparations through
teachings and practical activities prepared the youth for this important
mission.
At Emae, During the day, the youth did house-to-house mission, and during the night
they held crusades.
The theme for this outreach was taken from
Psalms 110:3., "Thy people [shall be] willing in the day of thy power, in
the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of
thy youth." [KJV]
